What Is Happening at Connection These Days?
During the COVID19 pandemic we at Connection are connecting with one another and our community through old and new ways.
Living in the COVID19 pandemic we are trying to “Do No Harm” by continuing to avoid physically gathering for in-person indoor Worship.
In the ongoing racial pandemic Connection UMC is speaking up for justice. See our Connection UMC YouTube for recent Worship services.*
God’s justice is a neverending flow of fairness and righteousness.
Righteousness may sound like an old fashioned church-y word, but it is a word timely in any century. Righteousness is about living in right relationship with one another.
At Connection we are talking, working to build authentic relationship.
At Connection we are in partnership with LaunchPad to work toward street-free sleep for 18 to 24 year old Nashvillians.
At Connection we are in partnership with Iglesia Unida Metodista Ebenezer to develop relationship and effective ministry.
At Connection we support students, family and staff at Hickman Elementary through targeted gift-giving of food, clothing and supplies.
At Connection we gift food and provide a team to Second Harvest.
At Connection we provide lunch bags and hygiene kits to people with a need for either.
At Connection we are a community of people trying to be Jesus’ disciples in worship and service that flows from the power of Christ’s Spirit.
Our prayer is that Christ’s light may be visible in how we worship and serve!
